The Sadiay Tawa collection is inspired by local craftsmanship found throughout the history of Vigan City, like kapis window-making, cane weaving in antique pieces of furniture, and the lost trade of indigo dyeing.
Vigan City is a heritage site with well-preserved history, ancient mansions, and streets with post-colonial architecture. The local community of tradespeople and artisans inspired the designer, which influenced her designs.
